Guaranteed check-in is 3.00pm and check-out is 12.00 noon.
Can early check-in be arranged?
Early check-in is possible and is subject to availability. Early check in may be arranged subject to availability at a rate of €30 from 11am. Any earlier check in will be subject to a full night rate.
Can late check-out be arranged?
Late check-out can be arranged until 2.00pm for a supplement of €20.00.
I am attending a wedding and wanted to know if it is possible to check-in early and freshen up/change?
Early check-in may be possible and subject to availability.
Is it possible to use the facilities in the hotel before the check-in time of 3.00pm?
Yes, guests are welcome to use the facilities in the hotel prior to 3pm check-in. Guests can leave their luggage in storage with the reception team. Should a room become available earlier than the guaranteed time of 3.00pm, then the front desk will contact you.

Yes all our rooms have air conditioning and can be controlled internally from within the room.
Do you provide a hairdryer and iron in your room?
Yes, all rooms are equipped with an iron, ironing board and hairdryer.
How many guests do your rooms accommodate?
All our Deluxe bedrooms consist of 1 Double Bed & 1 Single Bed. We can place 1 roll bed or 1 cot in these bedrooms to accommodate a child under 12 years.. The room price will be calculated at the booking stage when you enter the desired number of Adults & Children that you wish to book into the bedroom. Please book an interconnecting bedroom if you require accommodation for more than 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. An interconnecting bedroom has 1 Double Bed & 4 Single Beds.
What size are your rooms?
Deluxe Rooms are approximately 28 square metres in size. The Executive Suites are between 48 square metres and our Junior Suites are 56 square metres.

What time does the bar close at each night?
The Tara Lounge closes at 11.30pm according to governmentCovid-19 guidelines.
What time is food served until in the Bar?
Bar food is served from 12 noon to 9.00pm 7 days per week which was recently ammended due to Covid-19 guidelines. Tables should be pre-booked and right now there is a maximum of 6 people allowed per table from a maximum of 3 different households.
Are children welcome in the bar?
Yes, children are permitted in the bar until 9.00pm provided they are eating with their families and they must remain at the table.
What time is breakfast served from and until?
Breakfast is served each morning midweek from 6.30am to 10.30am and from 7.00am until 11.00am at weekends and holidays. During the Covid-19 pandemic we recommend that you pre-book your breakfast time
Do you provide room service?
Yes, we provide room service. There is a tray charge of €5.00 per room and room service is available 24 hours a day.
Do I need to book a dinner time before arriving to the hotel?
We advise that you book in advance of arriving, or upon check in.
What dining options do you have in the hotel?
The Tara Lounge serves a bar menu up to 9.00pm, 7 days per week. Due to Covid-19 our Mornington Restaurant is not currently operating an A La Carte Menu. However the Tara Lounge menu is substantial and has daily specials and carvery available on a Sunday.
Do you cater for vegetarians & people with gluten free diets or coeliac?
Yes, we cater for all dietary requirements.
Do you cater for large groups?
Current guideines restrict group gatherings and events with the exception of weddings. The maximum size that can book in our restaurant is in tables of 6 people. We will update this as restrictions are eased.
Do you have sky sports in the bar?
Yes, we have Satellite TV with Sky Sports.
Is there entertainment or music provided in the hotel?
Sunday live music from 1pm-3pm.
Do you have a kids dinner menu?
Yes, we offer a children’s menu which is served in the Tara Lounge daily. Children may dine in the Tara Lounge until 9.00pm.

Is there a playground or play area for children?
Yes, we have an outdoor playground for children.
Are there any other services or facilities that you provide for children?
Our kids club has been suspended for 2020 due to Covid-19 restrictions. We operate a cinema club every weekend and during mid-term break instead.
Does the hotel provide a babysitting service?
CityNorth Hotel does not provide onsite babysitting service.
Can your family rooms cater for 2 adults and 3 children?
Our rooms can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children. If you have a 3rd or 4th child we can accommodate you in an interconnecting room. Our interconnecting rooms consist of a room with a double bed & single bed which connects to another room with 3 single beds.
Do you provide cots or rollaway’s?
Yes, we can provide either a cot or a rollaway in your room. Rollaway beds are only suitable for children 12 years and under. These must be requested at booking stage or at least 7 days prior to arrival and are subject to availability.

Do you have wheelchair accessible rooms?
Yes, we do have wheelchair accessible rooms which are easily accessed by a lift on the ground floor. The bathrooms have support bars.

Yes, we have wheelchair accessible toilets located on the ground floor.
Can you book a taxi service to/from your hotel?
Yes, taxis can be booked at our reception desk.
Is there complimentary car parking at the hotel?
Yes, we provide complimentary car parking in the hotel. We also provide wheelchair accessible spaces which are located beside the hotel entrance.
Is there electric car charging stations near the hotel?
Yes, they are located at the Circle K on campus across the road.
Circle K charging stations are operated by Ionity & you can either download the app or scan the QR code on the machine.

Celebrating a Special Occasion
Is there anything that you can provide for a special occasion?
Yes, we can provide champagne, wine, flowers, Prosecco, chocolates, rose petals and strawberries. (Charges will apply). These can also be arranged when booking online. After you select your room types or package you will be presented with the option to personalise your stay.
Do you allow pets in the hotel?
CityNorth Hotel does not allow pets in the hotel for health and safety regulations.
