PUCA Festival

This Halloween, Trim and Athboy will come alive from October 30th to November 2nd for four magical days of music, myth, and mischief. Themed “Connecting with Our Roots,” this year’s festival honours Ireland’s ancient Samhain traditions with a vibrant mix of storytelling, fire ceremonies, live performances, and immersive cultural experiences.

Expect a stellar lineup including The 2 Johnnies, Block Rockin Beats with Groove Armada, Blindboy, Jason Byrne, Qween, The Dublin Gospel Choir, and many more. From eerie walks and folklore workshops to the spectacular Samhain Fire Ceremony and Harvest Market, it’s a feast for all the senses.

Spirits of Meath Festival (Oct 3 – Nov 9)

Step into the birthplace of Halloween and experience a month-long celebration of Samhain traditions, eerie storytelling, and family-friendly fun. From the ancient Hill of Tlachtga to haunted trails and fire ceremonies, Meath is where Halloween history lives on.

Lú Festival of Light – Drogheda, Co. Louth

From October 25–28 and October 31–November 3, Drogheda lights up with stunning illuminations at iconic landmarks like the Old Abbey and Laurence’s Gate. The festival features myth-inspired light shows, live music, and family-friendly street performances — all celebrating Irish legends in a magical atmosphere.

Emerald Park – Ashbourne, Co. Meath
