Accommodation, food and drinks are much less expensive than in Dublin, and Drogheda offers great night life with 50 pubs and five night clubs.
The area also boasts a huge amount of visitor attractions .
The hotels are charging in the region of €90 for two nights bed and breakfast, per person sharing reduced to just €39 for extra nights which is a significant reduction on normal rates.
