Celebrating 100 great years at the heart of the community, the centenary ball of Laytown and Bettystown Golf Club was a night to remember. Over 350 club members and friends gathered in Gormanstons CityNorth Hotel on Saturday 20th June 09. 'It was a fantastic evening and a great community get-together' said golf club captain Owen Kenny. This was undoutedly the social event of the year in east Meath with entire clans of the area's long established families attending.
