The 4* CityNorth Hotel welcomes active retirement groups with a special 3 night package which is valid any arrival day including Bank Holiday Weekends. 

The cost is a special rate of €149pps and includes 3 nights bed and full breakfast with 2 course dinner (choice menu) on three evenings.

CityNorth are happy to assist in the organisation of your trip.  For groups of 20 guests we offer an Event Manager at no charge, whom can then arrange group discounts or where possible complimentary trips or activities in the area.  We will also provide a self service tea & coffee station each afternoon with our compliments.

How to get to CityNorth Hotel:

  1. By coach:
    From Dublin City Centre – pick up a Matthews coach at Parnell Street which drops off directly at CityNorth Hotel. A coach schedule can be accessed at www.citynorthhotel.com/timetables
  2. By train:
    Nearest train station is Gormanston, Balbriggan or Drogheda.  A complimentary transfer to and from the hotel will be arranged for all group arrivals.
  3. By car:
    Exit at junction 7 on the M1 motorway.

In one day, you can visit the great prehistoric tombs at Newgrange, the site of the famous Battle of the Boyne (See a ‘live’ re enactment each Sunday from June to September.), share the view of Irelands high kings from the Hill of Tara and stand in awe at the gates of Trim castle.

4. Enjoy a trip to Malahide Castle for a tour and spend the afternoon at your leisure exploring the colourful seaside village of Malahide

5. A day trip to Dublin. Take a Matthews coach directly from CityNorth Hotel.

6. A trip to historic Drogheda. Take a Matthews coach directly from CityNorth Hotel,

Evening Entertainment suggestions

  • Spend an evening at the Seamus Ennis Cultural Centre – dedicated to the memory of Irish musician, folklore and music collector, Seamus Ennis. The Centre plays host to some of today’s foremost musicians, songwriters and artists.
  • Enjoy an Irish ‘Hooley’ night at the Man O War pub/restaurant – set in a delighted old whitewashed cottage with thatched roof – 5 mins from CityNorth Hotel.
