Ardgillan Castle & Demesne - A wonderful place to just roam around the 82ha of rolling pastureland, mixed woodland and gardens, the castle has now been restored and the ground floor rooms and kitchens are open to visitors for guided tours. Tea-rooms are located off the main reception area, serving light home baked snacks . Five miles of foothpaths are available throughout the demesne, some made by opening old avenues, while others were newly constructed. They now provide a system of varied and interesting woodland walks, and vantage points from which to enjoy views of the Irish sea and coastline. 6. Seamus Ennis Cultural Centre – dedicated to the memory of Irish musician, folklore and music collector, Seamus Ennis.
