Newbridge House and Traditional Farm
Newbridge House is a very fine example of a true Georgian mansion within Newbridge Demesne Regional Park. It was built in 1736 and remained the family home of the Cobbe family until 1985.
It was then acquired by the County Council who undertook an extensive programme of renovation and refurbishment to return the house to its 18th century glory.
It is set in a 360 acre demesne and features a courtyard which houses a museum of country life, a traditional farm and a walled garden
On the grounds are the Newbridge Traditional Farm, an excellent children's adventure playground area, sports pitches, an orienteering course and woodland walks with picnic areas.
Location: 5 kilometres from the town of Swords on the road to Donabate village
