Looking for a bit of craic but maybe not your usual palaver that is inevitable on the occasion of a hen party?

We reckon we have the answer in partnership with Red Mountain Open Farm located just a few minutes from CityNorth Hotel.

A Sample Itinerary follows:
Roll up to CityNorth Hotel and catch up on all the gossip with your girlfriends and enjoy some cocktails.  (An interactive cocktail making session can be arranged with prior notice).

Relax in your luxurious bedrooms all located on the one floor and get yourself beautified for the evening, we won't blink an eye if its feather boas, bikinis or suits - We promise!

Enjoy a good old knees up in the Tara Lounge with delicious menus to peruse and choices galore, food is served till 9.30pm so the group can eat together or independently depending on their time of arrival and of course the bar remains open for residents till the wee hours.

Enjoy a glorious lie in the next morning with late breakfast for the group then it's off to Red Mountain Farm.  Transfers can be arranged via reception.
 
2.00pm  Arrive at Red Mountain Open Farm.  The "Hen" is transformed into the (sexy of course!) "Farmers Wife" who to note is the 'BOSS' of her friends (or maybe foes) whom must also don aprons and other suitable attire.
 
2.30pm Get to work - Collect eggs (and/or Milk depending on the season).  I ask you this how many of the group will ever actually have milked a cow - our sympathy is with the poor cow!

2.45pm The 'husband to be' will be sure to write a 'Thank You' letter to Red Mountain Farm when his lovely wife to be demonstrates her skills in the area of baking.  She will learn how to make scrumptious Scones under the direction of the real 'Farmers Wife'.  The hen party overall will enjoy the benefits after a few hours of healthy fresh air - works wonders on the appetite!.
 
3.30pm Now the really fun bit! - Your carriage awaits - 'The tractor' and off you trundle to the fields to collect fodder for the animals.  The Hen must commandeer the wheel collecting the bales of hay and eventually returning to the barn where everyone has to stack the bales NEATLY!

In case you thought your day was over, the animals must be groomed  The surprise will be which animals!!          

4.45pm. Were the scones a success?  Maybe an Irish Coffee to wash them down?

5.15pm Tend to the animals and quite possibly chase each other around the yard. 

6.00pm Back to CityNorth Hotel for a well earned shower and some general revelry especially when you see the photos that were taken of you larking around throughout the day courtesy of Red Mountain Open Farm.

8.30pm Dinner can be served in The Mornington Restaurant where the ladies can be ladies and the wine will flow as well as the conversation.
